I offer individual counseling for adults and adolescents focusing on such areas as: addiction, codependence, depression, anxiety disorders, trauma- PTSD, CPTSD, attachment trauma, grief and loss.


I have extensive experience providing group therapy to adults coping with addiction, codependence, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Drawing on my experiential therapy training, I offer groups focused on fostering connection and internal resource building. 


I offer both in person sessions at my Mid City, New Orleans office as well as virtual, telehealth sessions for your convenience. In addition I offer walk and talk therapy-in-the-park as well as therapy-comes-to-you, house calls for an additional charge. 


While I do not currently accept insurance I am able to support out-of-network claims with your insurance company. I believe that access to quality, affordable mental health services are an essential human right.  I  have limited openings available to work with clients on a sliding scale based on financial need. 



Drawing on both my professional training,  as well as my own, ongoing recovery from codependence, I support client's in identify and honor their own needs, create better boundaries, and identify relational patterns that are no longer serving them.  I fashion my approach based on the unique needs of each client- using such tools as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Based EMDR, mindfulness, 12-step recovery, and experiential therapy.


Through the use of such tools as Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness I support clients in overcoming and coping with anxiety, worry, and panic. By examining and changing engrained thinking, resolving past trauma, and supporting an improved ability to connect to the present moment, I support those I work with in recovering a sense of safety.


My approach to treating depression is client-centered and reflects the unique, individual needs of the individual. I draw on  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness- as well as my own recovery and healing from depression.


I have worked for the the last 8 years in inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings providing addiction counseling to individuals and families. I tailor my approach specifically to the individual, with a focus on creating course of treatment that meets each client's unique needs.  In my addiction counseling practice I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Harm Reduction, Mindfulness, 12-step Recovery and Spirituality to support a client's recovery goals.


The loss of a loved one, a beloved pet, a relationship, a job, the vision of the life we had for ourselves- can upend our sense of self and safety. By holding space for clients grief with compassion and presence, I support each individuals unique process of grieving. 


Chronic insomnia can be debilitating- undermining physical and mental health, and one's overall sense of well being. By drawing on my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Mindfulness, I support client's in reestablishing a regular and healthy sleep pattern, and fostering a new confidence in their ability to get a good nights rest. 

My focus is on supporting my client's rediscovery and connection to a sense of safety in the here on bow. I draw in my training in EMDR and Experiential Therapy and Attachment Theory  to support clients' healing from the effects of single event traumas and complex trauma.
